I'm looking for a portable DAC/AMP that wold perfectly drive my Hifiman HE-500 with a very good quality / price. I use my headphones both with my smartphone and my mac.

Any suggestion ?

I used the Topping NX4 to power LCD-3s and while its not the best for those headphones, it sounded pretty good. I've used this thing with a variety of headphones and it outputs quite a lot of power and it sounds more refined than the headphone jack of my phone.
