I am looking for a portable setup for work. I did some search and reading here. I narrowed down to this list:
fulla 2
DF red
audioengine D1/D3

Could you give me some advice on the list? my headphone is akg k553. how much improvement will it be for my cans? Thank you.

There's also the Encore mDSD.

Then try to find a df red under 100, it's probably your best bet.

DF Reds seem to hold their value pretty well...sold my used one for $175 easily. I'm using, and re really liking the Fulla 2. For me, a volume knob is a desirable feature.

seen some Geek Outs in the FS section. Better than DF IMO in that price range.
