Hi guys...I'm about to purchase my first portable DAC/Amp and have some lingering questions.

First, does anyone use a portable DAC + Amp like the E7 with their Android phone on the go? I ask because I see a lot of people hold their iPod and DAC/Amp together with a rubber strap which would run across the screen of my Android phone. Wouldn't this mean I can't use the touch screen on my phone because it won't register my touches with the rubber strap tied around the screen?

Also, my Android phone only has a 3.5mm headphone jack so I can't use any of the LOD cables...aren't I sacrificing noticeable sound quality by using the M-M 3.5mm cable?

And finally, does the E17 pair well with my Ety ER4's?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Without using the LOD cable you're doubling up amps - which won't sound right or really improve the quality as much as it would with the LOD.

As for the touch screen bit it's specific for the type of touch screen, but you can tell pretty easily. Can you use your finger nails on the screen? If not then that rubber band won't effect it.
