If you want an altertive to the Moondrop there is Shanling EC Mini. Available HERE (US) HERE (EU) or in Hifigo.

I'd avoid the Shanling EC Mini, one of the worse sources I've heard. I'd go for just an old CDP from known brands.

Just get any Sony-made CD walkman.

They will probably last longer than the modern chi-fi ones being produced today.
