im thinking about getting a hm-601 and a pair portable cans to use with it. my max price is around 200 $. i hear mostly rock and a bit of vocal jazz(but they need to be good at different kind of music).
they need to be closed and around the ear(foldable is a plus)
what to buy?
what cans sound good with hm-601?

Have you considered the sennheiser 25-1 II? 
I currently use my HM-601 player with them and they sound great, they provide adequate isolation and are closed.
