Hi, 
 
I am looking for a bassy headphone that is really portable (preferably foldable) below 300. I wouldn't mind the extra bass as I listen to mainly EDMs, Electronic rock, modern pop songs and etc. Right now, I have my mind on the Beats Solo 2 or the Vmoda m100 for both portability and its bass features. But i'm not really sure about the Beats Solo 2's bass as I have not listened to it yet. I heard the VModa M100s are great portable headphones that can fold and also provides huge bass which is something I like. But I hope I can find something of more cheaper with excellent bass if it is possible. Thank you!

You might check out the VMODA XS. It is cheaper than the m100,  folds nicely, and has a cool case. It could work for you. You should read about it.

Yeah but it is more neutral sounding then bassy.

I have the beats solo 2 and the bass is strong and powerful, but not overwhelming. I would suggest m100 tho as it is more durable and better sounding.

I'm not sure about the vmoda xs as I have to try to listen to it first but i heard its bass is not that strong.May I know how does the bass of the beats solo 2 compared to vmoda m100s?

You should check out the brainwavz hm9. I haven't tried them out myself but a lot of people have recommended them.
