In a similar thread to this, I am looking for a truly portable set of earphones. They must be open (thus eliminating canalphones) and must be portable. So basically, a set of basshead earphones (MX400 style) or clipons (KSC-35 style). So far, I have tried the MX400 (which did not have enough bass for me) and the PortaPros (which were too bulky). Having said that, the PortaPros did satisfy my bass-needs, however, something bassier would be nice

The ksc-35's should fit the bill. Be warned that they will be similar to the Portapro's...not bassier by any means (actually very slightly less). However, that's good since many feel they overdo the bass anyways.

Once you listen to them for awhile, you should be pretty happy with them once you acclimate.
