I've come into some money recently, and I'm looking for a good portable amp to match my HD595s. As of now I can afford an amp that cost up to $100. Or I could wait and get a Total BitHead as a graduation present in the next few months.

What do yall think?

hd595 doesn't need an amp... believe me. It's 50 ohms.

i have a go-vibe and i can't tell a difference at all. It makes the sound a little warmer maybe. But you have to really listen to notice it. Not worth the money... I'll sell it to you

Well my DT990's are the 32ohm version and they need an amp if you want them to sound any good. Same with Grados. Just because they are powered easily doesn't mean an amp doesn't help.
