Portable amp to drive full sized cans .... Everyone is always asking this ....

I would consider the Cruise more transportable than portable as it is quite large and the wedge shape makes it problematical to stack with a DAP. The Cruise is undeniably powerful and has a lush and capacious sound-stage.

Cheers.

For me ... if it fits in a blue jean pocket it is portable ...

I just received the Cruise in the mail, and had planned on selling it in the box unopened, but I just had to look at it LOL.  I can certainly see why people keep saying that photos don't do it justice !  Man is it ever beautiful. it is smaller than the photos make it look too. Oh well ... I decided to go desktop instead, and that is still what I am going to do, but if I were still in the market for a portable, this would be on my short list based on the looks alone LOL.
