Also i will need a cable to connect my iAudio 7 to the amps..where can i purchase that?

It will need to drive Shure 530PTH properly.

Also considering getting an ipod since everyone has an iMod these day.

If you are very, very patient, there is the Xin SuperMicro IV with a few enhancements.

What ultimate size? To be put in the shirt pocket or in a small carry around? For under 200 the P2 is an excellent price and even if it were 300 it would be an excellent buy. The Xin Micro is very small, has very fine sound and could be put in the shirt pocket with a small source. The Xin Mini, though hard to find, is also very good and is one of my favorites for size to performance.
