Hello, everyone.

I'm a bit of a "newbie" to the world of high-end audio, so I hope that those who are more experienced can help me get started.

I recently bought a pair of AKG K240 MKII headphones. The problem is that most of my listening takes place on my iPod Classic, and obviously, the AKGs aren't intended simply to be plugged into an iPod headphone jack. Therefore, I'm looking to buy a portable amplifier that would help my headphones achieve their full potential.

Some specs regarding my headphones:
- Sensitivity: 104 dB SPL/V
- Rated impedence: 55 ohms
- Max input power: 200 mW

Any recommendations for a beginner? Thanks.

Cool, the E11 looks like it'd work.

Do you know anything about the smaller FiiO amps? Would the E01 or E06 not have enough power?

Really best to get the E11 (or better).
I found the Fiio E6 offered very little in boost working with my Clip Zip and stopped using the E6.
And the headphones I was using was less demanding then the K240MKII.
