Hi, im looking for a portable amp for my dt880 (03 version). my budget is around $250 max. the source will be from an ipod + my pc.

im looking at ibasso d3, corda 3move, hmm am i looking at the right direction or could these even amp the dt880 well enough?

any portable amps that u can recommend for the dt880 + price?

It all depends on what u are looking for in an amp. If you like Rock, the "Little Dot MK1+" is very good for that since it raises the mid-range up a bit. It also costs $179 on ebay.

ah thank u for pointing that out. i listen to a wide range of songs.. more towards unplugged albums, indy songs, and some crunks.. oh and i always welcome more bass

so the Little Dot MK1+ can drive the dt800 well? ill go on ebay and have a look.

found another MK1+ on ebay selling for $135 but, the specification is slightly different from the $179 one.. any comments on this?

There are two different ones. MK1 is the original one. MK1+ is the upgraded version. I'd say get the MK1+ since the SQ is better.
