Hi All, I've been away from Head-fi lately so I'm not up to date with the latest gear and what not.
 
So I need to invest in a new portable DAC/AMP.... I am currently using an old IBasso D10 that has been upgraded with ICs recommended here at the time (about 8 years ago I'm guessing) but I was wondering what's around nowadays
 
requirements:
 
- AMP + DAC in one case
- powerful enough to play ATH-M50X
- Connectivity PC via USB cable and Android Phone via USB cable (or Bluetooth, is that a thing nowadays?)
- to have its own battery so it doesn't drain my phone during flights (I travel a lot with work)
- Available in the UK (or China if it can be delivered to my hotel while I'm there)
- Budget ideally below £200 - can stretch if there is a massive improvement.

After some reading I've recently got myself a FiiO E18. It hasn't arrived yet so can't really give my opinion but will definatelly be enough for the M50x, it has it's own battery and it can even charge your phone if needed.
 
Definatelly worth looking at.

For a little more than £200 you could get a Oppo HA-2 which is an awesome gadget. Probably the best you could get actually nowdays in that price range.
