Hi. I'm going to upgrade my portable player (Cowon D2 screen is cracked). Please reccommend me portable players with BBE sound encantment on-board. So far I have found various Coeon products (pricey!) and Nanite N2 (lousy battery time compared to Cowon). Also anything comparable Cowon's to sound signature.

Have you actually heard either of these DAPs? Sorry, but the Sony X1060 sounds nothing like Cowons.... Next suggestion that you haven't heard?
 
I'd describe the differences (they're plainly obvious if you've ever listened to them side by side), but I suspect I'd just find them pawned by you somewhere else in the forums before long.
