Hi, I have sony MDR- ED12 now and theyr pretty good for my phone... a nokia E71. I use it with a 3.5mm to 2.5 mm adapter... i've always wanted the koss porta pros, but i couldn't get them cos they weren't available in my country... but i'm in england now for a while and i'd really like to get a good set of head phones but i read that the porta pros were an open type? I've never really heard them before... but are they disturbingly loud to others when used in public places/planes/library etc? and also, considering that most of my headphone use would be with my phone, will porta pros really make a big diff in sound quality? or will i have to upgrade my music player first? and if the headphone upgrade would make a big difference, are there any closed alternatives to the porta pros around the same price? the max i can stretch to is probably around 40 GBP or 60$...
