Till now I have not posted any impressions because it is the first amp I own and therefore can't compare. I'm also very new to head-fi and don't feel like an expert. But even when compaired to my home denon 1803 amp I can here a difference with some vivaldi pieces (a fact I am very proud of ;-) - I was afraid that my ears would not be sensitive enough to here a difference - which is still true for some hiphop and rock pieces ).

I use it mainly connected to my laptop with my Ultrasone Proline 750 and am very satisfied.

Hope someone qualified can post some comparisons.

r, cris

Cris, can you comment on the size/portability? According to the web-site, it is 11.8 cm in length (about 5 or so inches) which seems on the long side compared to other portable amps this price range.
thanks

I'll comment the only thing I've cared about in this regard: it fits very easily in my slim laptop bag.

I just measured about:
65mm x 23mm x 111mm for the case
119mm if you also include the volume knob
29mm if you also include the belt-clip

So it is substantial smaller than my wallet and should easy fit into any pocket. And you have also the possibility to use the belt-clip. I see no problem with portability.

jlw: If you are goind to use it with an external power supply, sound quality should be a good bit better with the PCIII.

Greetings from Hannover!
