I appreciate the offer. I've seen prices all over the place. This is the only Neil Young edition, Pono Player for sale I could find. Big Bucks...I'll take less but maybe the fact it is N.Y. edition might bring a little more than others?Unfortunately, it's probably not worth much. It's still an incredible audiophile device but battery life and user interface are horrific. Tiny screen makes the experience slightly worse. My Pearl Jam one is on display on my stereo cabinet. I'd be happy to add yours to my display for $100.

I had to throw my two black ones away because the rubberized plastic basically melted.... In the house. Melted is not the right word but something like that.
YIKES ! I will take out of the boxes before shipping to make sure all is good. Luckily we live in 24/7 A/C, no smoking, and I kept in a dark cool place.Always worth a shot. Probably a Neil fan will be most interested.

I doubt yours has the problem. My aluminum one has held up fine. It's just a black and yellow rubberized ones that seemed to suffer this fate.YIKES ! I will take out of the boxes before shipping to make sure all is good. Luckily we live in 24/7 A/C, no smoking, and I kept in a dark cool place.

Seems all things that have that soft touch rubber feel on it disintegrates over time. I refuse to buy anything anymore with that finish on it. It's like the oil breaks down and it "melts" and leaves a horrible sticky goo. I ended up scraping away (with a razorblades) the goo. Still listen to my Pono on my stereo and always surprised by how good it sounds, still in comparison.I doubt yours has the problem. My aluminum one has held up fine. The prices are all over the place! Right now $ 225~ $1,626.90 (WTH for a CSN&Y?) I think I'm being fair. It's just sitting around so let someone else enjoy it.

I still have my Pono..yes the battery is meh and the interface is DRECK and the local storage worked for 6 weeks and now it's impossible to store anything locally without taking 3 hours to copy a 100meg FLAC, so I use a 1TB microSD card... BUT... for it's price, it has one of the BEST 'sound profiles'... It's is essentially an AYRE Digital Player, and the guy who designed it, used bigger capacitors to give the device a more analogue soundstage and charactcer that few DAPS in this price range can achieve.I've never turned on my Neil Young Artist Edition Pono player, it is still in original boxing; both the Player's and Shipping boxes. I wanted to support the project and snagged a Neil Young edition, which sold out first of course. What's it worth? If interested let's talk.

I have 2 Ponos-I've had a number of different DAPs since I got them, they have all eventually died. I then pull out the Pono, which has held up just fine (except the battery doesn't lost all that long, have to recharge frequently). In the same spot now, using them again (and like them).

Time to bring it out for a listen. At the time I didn’t think portable sound could get any better. It still holds it’s own.
