I would like your suggestions for a polyvalent amplifier, preferably around 500 US dollars or less. The reason I would like it polyvalent is that I would like to experiment over time with different brands of headphones. At the top of my list would be Grado (I have the opportunity to buy a RS-2, I may prefer a SR-225), Sennheiser HD-650 and Beyerdynamic DT-880. As I understand it, those headphones are quite different from each other, hence my request.

Thanks in advance.

Since you are asking nicely : polyvalent means versatile., that is, in this context, an amplifier that will work equally well with a wide range of headphones.

Oh, and would it be possible to limit suggestions to something I could order on the WWW, or at a local dealer? A trip to West Virginia is not convenient for me.

I was just being silly. LOL. Actually a SinglePower MPX3 or a EddieCurrent HD25 would fill the bill.
