A weird, wonderful, Japanese noise pop Devo worshiping band.

www.polysics.com

Recently a clip of a breakdancer that appears at their shows was featured in the Member's Lounge. That was a video showing ONLY her performance, here is the whole clip that includes a male breakdancer that is actually very good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-Dg3QMfWgQ

And the clip that got me into Polysics, their live version of My Sharona:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6NIJ5r448A

There is a very very special part of my brain that Polysics finds and makes me very very happy. If caffeine is your drug, you will probably understand them. If it ain't, you probably won't.

One last video:

That is some eerily awesome stuff. I can't even remember hearing stuff that 'out there' on J-Pop Mondays during college.
