I want to build a nice CMoy for my daughter's room. It will not be portable, so size is of no concern. I have a lot of large value, unused Solens poly caps laying around* and was wondering if anyone has ever attempted an all poly power supply (for the CMoy)? I know, it will be big and maybe quite silly, but I think I could pull off a nice presentation. The basic CMoy calls for two 220uF sections, and I have the poly caps to do it. My only real concern is the resistance a large cap might impose on the path. Any comments?

* [size=x-small][size=xx-small]I bought a crapload of Solens 400V fastcaps for use in a project involving speaker crossovers. The project took a detour and I was left holding a bunch of these things. They sit here in perfect, new condition along with a bunch of Jensen inductors and Mills resistors. If anyone needs some Solens caps (mostly larger values of 2uf and up), let me know.
