For the purposes of this poll, "Little or no difference" means that you either hear no difference or hear a difference that is very small - not significantly noticeable in regular use.  "Moderate or large difference" means that the difference is noticeable and rather obvious.

Tyll's review at InnerFidelity is up.  The M80/V80 and XS do measure differently.  I own both and much prefer the XS over the M80.  Having said that, I really like the M80's mids over similar on-ear models and jumped on the XS when it came out in the hopes that the sound would not be too different. 
 
I EQ down the bass a bit on the XS to tame it, and find it a great portable headphone.

The XS is a very nice update of the M80 my friend. If you're looking to update your M80 or are trying to decide between the two the XS isn't hype and is worth it in my opinion.
