Hello Usually in the big cities they are Digital and also some small towns are Digital it is up to the town. A Digital Scanner in the US goes for $500.00 dollars. give or take a few dollars. If you go to the Scanner Master - Police Scanners by Uniden Bearcat, AOR and Radio Shack. you can get every thing you need.

Yeah.. that's great and everything, but digital FQ's (around here at least) are all encrypted, so even if you have a digital scanner it wont do you much good.
