I was bored, so I opened up my Siege Audio "The Eleven" headphones (I got them half off a long time ago), seeing if I could tweak the insides. I noticed on the PCB that there was an empty circuit on the opposite side: paths from the input USB port, to polarized capacitors, then to the speakers. What would happen if I filled out this circuit with polarized capacitors? What value of capacitors should I use?
(sorry for the blurry images, my iPod camera sucks)
The paths are simple:
Left Input > +Capacitor Lead > Left Wire to Left Speaker
Right Input > +Capacitor Lead > Right Wire to Right Speaker
Ground Input > +Capacitor Lead > Ground Wire to Left and Right Speakers
Any info is much appreciated!
