Poker-Fi: Your biggest winnings?

We play £3 or £5 buy-in poker nights with friends occasionally, usually 7or 8 people at the table. Bottom couple have to eat a hot chilli as a forfeit, top 3 or 4 walk home with money. First time I took my stake home again, and this time I came a close second (shameless bluff in the closing stages saw me foul...) and the most recent time I took home £7 from a £3 buy-in. Super-duper. It's generally just a social thing though, we only have the stake so that people don't piss about and actually play.

My biggest winngs were watching Sue M. take that bra off in my high school years!!!!!Other than that I would have to say around $150 playing quarter half with some buds. I will always remember the high school moment though

I don't play quite so much anymore since my daughter was born last year becuase tournament play online can take up hours.

I've had a couple of pretty big wins though, over $4,000 a twice in some pretty large online tournaments.

I also play in a "home game" where about 15 guys play in a rebuy tournament. Of the 5 times I've played so far, I have won the tournament twice for about $2,000 each time. Once I finished fifth and got my entry fee back and the other two times I lost about $250 each time.

during this whole time 1911 was crapping out some bad sushi on an MGM Grand toilet. what happens in Vegas, stays in the Vegas sewer system.

The only time I played for real money I won ~$40. It was a "dealer calls it" game at my friends house and I dealt the last game of the night. I made up a card game where I knew I had a good shot at winning. Well, I won. Those guys weren't too happy about losing that much on the final hand especially in a poker game that I just made up.

I played no limit Hold'em online (play money) at Fulltilt.net for a while. I would fleece the noobs and jokers at the 5/10 blinds tables until I had 25,000 chips or so and then I'd move up to 100/200 blinds. I'd usually lose most of it and return to the 5/10 blinds tables. One time I went on a month-long spell and got up to ~5 million chips. I took that to the 1000/2000 blinds tables and lost it all in a couple of hours.

Playing online for fake money was a great learning experience. Now I at least won't be a complete noob if I ever play face to face with real people. A friend of mine at work has $20 tourney's twice a month and $50 tourneys once every two months. He's invited me to play or just watch, so I think I might do that someday.
