Trying to figure out the optimal configuration for RSA's new Predator. My question is: Could I hook up my ipod classic 160G to a Pocketdock and utilize the USB output to feed the Predator's USB DAC? Many thanks.

The only way to get digital off of the hard drive of the iPod Classic is by a chip that authenticates a doc and then digital can be taken directly from the hard drive bypassing the internal dac of the iPod. Only Wadia has this in a home unit at this point and the authentication chip license has to be purchased from Apple and it ain't cheap.
You could use the line out on the Pocketdock to go to the input of the Predator but of course this doesn't utilize the Predator dac.
