Thank you hi-fi amateur for starting this thread. I bought my PMV several months ago and never opened it along with some others that I had purchased around the same time because I got busy with some more high dollar ones. Last week I was looking for IEMs to use while breaking in my new Satin Audio Zeus cable. Yesterday was about 150 hours of break in and the PMVs sounded great. I switched the Satin Zeus out for a more appropriate cable, a PWA # 10. It was a good choice. Although both cable and PMVs were broken in, I let them cook for 24 hours and they now sound 99% of the Zeus combo.

NOTE: Dynamic driver and Planar IEMs and headphones need at least 100 to 150 hours of break in. Find a music source on the internet on your computer. Add an USB out to a DAC and amp and tune the volume to a reasonable level. One of those DAC/amp combos would work like a champ. Do not make snap decisions about new IEMs and headphones until you do a break in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got PMV PP as a gift before Xmas. I like the sound, similar to the entry-level Hifiman HE350, but with less punch in the base.
BUT, last week, the right side sound level dropped by a lot. The cable checked out.
I emailed Linsoul for a replacement, just the right side. They asked me for an order number which I don't have because it was a gift. Still talking to Linsoul to resolve it.

Update:
Linsoul said: no order number, no replacement. That is the end of the road for me. What a shame!

Not able to get the gifter to have a look into it for you? I am sort of curious about the construction are you getting rid of them?

check the air hole or the nozzle.
volume drop sometimes caused by blockage in the ventilation hole or the nozzle.
