Just little survey for you.

Sony and Creative Zen are two PMP / PAP that has bass boost with Custom EQ control.

Sansa only got Custom, without bass boost.
Not limited only for sony, zen and sansa, but also other pmp(s) users.
So... please fill out the survey about your setting.

Which sansa?
I have an e 250 and an express, both have custom and bass boost, unless I'm misreading your post?
I prefer flat whenever possible. But custom EQ has it's place.

I got sansa e250 and clip, but they don't have bass boost, so i was assuming xD

I have all ipod's, flat no bass boost. I let the phones and amps do there thing.

I never use any type of EQ adjustment because I have the Ultrasone Pro 750.

have clip and D2, never used custom EQ or Bass boost, i like music the way it was recorded, no need for coloration to the sound

full flat EQ
no bass

tried the EQ out and whatever the bass is called (crystalbass or something like that), its just over the top, the 751's are pretty bassy for portables to begin with (at least imho), and adding DSP effects doesn't "help" (it sounds amazing with everything set to flat though)
