HI,i am looking for a converter, these two is in my budget... u192s & yulong u18.. which one is better? for speaker..
 
laptop --> converter --> DAC ---> amp ---> speaker...

Probably because most of us don't bother with converters. Seems better just to get a DAC that has the input you need to connect with your computer.

What kind of DAC do you have?

Then you should think about getting a DAC that doesn't require a converter. Might as well get a DAC that has USB because with the converter you are still using USB to transfer the audio in part of the digital signal chain.

you could buy a yulong u100 as dac and amp, for the beginning it is enough, and u don´t need a converter then.
