I was surprised that Christian's newly designed portable amp was nowhere to be found on Head-Fi. Here are the specs and pre-order price, if you pre-order before beginning of May, you will also get an Exo Series custom mini to mini cable worth 75$. It's is battery operated with easy access to the battery compartment.

I am hoping that the Mods will allow the thread info to be displayed. You have the specs, description and pre-order price with the free Exo interconnect cable for pre-ordering.

After several months of research and development, we are pleased to unveil our new flagship - Cloud Nine portable amplifier. It is the first in our line of amplifiers we will be releasing. We have completed its design and we are on target for a May 2014 release date. We can say that it performs exceptionally and sounds amazing.

About Cloud Nine

This is an 18V (2x 9V) battery-powered portable amplifier capable of driving not only sensitive in-ear monitors, but will drive even the most power hungry, high impedance headphones - which also means all the IEMs and headphones we build custom cables for will work with this amplifier.

With a precision amplifier followed with dual mono operational amplifier integrated circuits in the output stage, Cloud Nine will provide superior sound quality, excellent channel separation for improved imaging and clarity, unity gain stability, rail-to-rail output, while maintaining ultra low noise and distortion numbers.

Multi gain switch is included (Low for IEMs, Mid for headphones, and High for high impedance headphones)

All 9 volt batteries (Alkanine, NiMH, Lithium) will work with this amplifier and can run from 20 hours to 80 hours. Expect long battery life. [Varies in battery type, mAh, gain, volume levels]

Amplifier features back panel with thumbscrews for easy battery switching.

If you happen to put one or both batteries the wrong way, Cloud Nine has an added reverse battery protection feature to prevent any damage to your batteries and amplifier.

Only the highest quality components are used: Military grade printed circuit board, Panasonic capacitors, Vishay/Dale precision resistors, Texas Instruments ICs, among others.

The power of a full-size desktop amplifier in the size of a small portable amplifier, measuring at approximately 2.3" x 4.5" x 0.95".

Anodized aluminum shielded enclosure, volume knob, and screws are custom made specifically for Cloud Nine.

The entire amplifier will go through cryogenic treatment to improve durability and sound quality.

Cloud Nine will be available in black and silver.

15-day money back, 2 year warranty offered.
