I now have phones and an amp/DAC. Where do I plug it to bypass the DAC of my computer?

If I can't do that, then I guess I need to access the sound card's graphic interface and change it to some kind of bypass mode and then plug into the card.

I'm a bit lost.

You need to connect your DAC's input to your computer's digital output. This can be on the motherboard along with the system's other built-in audio connections, or on your sound card.

What amp/DAC do you have?

Sorry for the delay.

The amp is a Corda Move. USB-capable. So the motherboard or sound card should recognize this is a DAC and bypass it's own instead?

just plug it in and disable the onboard sound card in windows.
