Horrible device. No app. Keeps disconnecting on several Android phones (11/12 usbapp neutron gmmp) every 10-30 minutes have to plug out and in again. Wasted my money. I have zero problems with ibasso DC03 pro. Shanling UA2.Else? Package is nice (with lightning adapter) sound great and powerful it is.

Hi guys - so the filters. Checked with our team, they will be in firmware. This firmware is not available as yet but when it is we will post on here. We are working on getting it to you asap.

@VicPickles Great to hear! Thanks for letting us know :D

Have you tried flashing a version of firmware other than what was shipped with it? I had problems with mine (admittedly not the same) until I flashed over the firmware that it shipped with. Otherwise, I suppose it's possible you got a dud.

It came with 1.69 the latest firmware. It is not a dud but a bad implementation. With an old Android 10 Samsung I have no problems. Switch to my newer Android 11 or 12 phones and the described problem occurs. So I hope 1.70 will fix it and oc there should be a companion app.

Nope

My own impressions: smaller, cheaper, weaker, mobile version of ZEN DAC, but equally pleasing :)

Pairs great with ZEN CAN

FWIW I haven’t had those problems on Android 13.
Not that I have any affiliation with ifi, but what would you like the companion app to do? Something like the Gaia app for the Go Blu?

I think I’m the only person who’s had that problem (or at least posted about it). I went looking for other people who’d experienced it at the time and couldn’t find anyone.

I bought it the same day of release and it came with 1.69 firmware version, to my surprise when I checked the download page I saw an older firmware version, 1.66 so I didn't flash it.

With my Samsung A52s (android 13) it freezed a couple of times, but I don't know if it's due the link but I repluged and problem solved.

Because my review will be always late I have to say only this as a preview.

For the money this device is no brainer. And the S-Balance makes all the difference with my 58x.

The only limitations with this device coming from its size. Is so small almost compares with apple and Samsung adapters ....

I think ifi audio in purspose did not want to cannibalise sales and even kill the go bar so they stayed with this size and one dac.

Now this is for moderately easily drived headphones like 58x (still difficult to drive and scalable) now maybe for the new 660s2 maybe is not quite enough but up to 58x is fine.

In short, GO link was meant to be affordable and as small as we could physically make it, but very suprirsing on sound quality given its size :)

Is there someone who can post a link on how one check's what firmware they got and how to upgrade? I picked this up recently as well and it works well enough for me so far.

Select the Go Link from the drop down and enter the serial number from the sticker on the device (which, I'll warn you is a challenge for bad eyes. The text is super small). Then it'll take you to the download link for the update package. So you'll need a computer for this operation. The update program will tell you what your version is before you actually do anything. The download includes the instructions.

Exactly that, thanks a lot!
