Unfortunately I have very little and it may not be in perfect order:

"drink it up...i feel ill and hollow, rules of engagement i need a new arrangement...a sh***y night in the life"

then something like:

"being sued for overdue payments isn't true
but not a new statement"

Thats all i got; any ideas?

Doesn't ring a bell. From what year is this and what style? Any idea what the rapper is affiliated to as in label, camp?

I have no idea.
I heard the song being played in the background, in a club, on an episode of Louis on FX.

So, I was watching that Louie episode tonight and starting googling that song.  The only match was this link.  Did you ever figure out the song?  Thanks in advance.

Which link?

rules of engagement (feat j live and count bass d)?

Did you just try and find a song named "Rules of Engagement"?
None of the above lyrics are in this song.

it's episode 13 series 1 - the first song when they go in the club. anyone found out yet?

end credits say

original music - reggie watts
original music - sweetpro

but i'm pretty sure it isn't any of them. don't think it's credited either

Wow ZMIN-nice thread revival.

Thanks for reminding me how annoyed I was about this a year ago and inadvertently providing a resurgence of that annoyance, today!
