Hey people,

The mmcx connector of one of my cables snapped inside my FH7 and I can’t seem to find a way to fix the issue: there’s no room for movement with pliers and no extruding part of the connector I can grab… (see pics)

Can anyone give me suggestions to fix this issue? I wouldn’t want to bin my iems…

Thanks in advance!

What if you use a little bit of super glue to the unbroken one and mate the two up let dry and pull?

The problem is that the connector snapped BECAUSE it was to hard to get out… I doubt that super glue will be strong enough… 😔

This is a tough one. If only there was a tiny screw with a hollow center where you can thread it in and pull it out. That’s the only solution that comes to mind for me. However, before you toss them, contact Fiio customer support. Who knows, they may be able to help you and send a replacement. Send email to support@fiio.com.

You can get them out with a pair of Hemostat Forceps Locking Foreceps which are like scissors but with a clamping end on them. On Amazon or eBay there not expensive. I have a couple of pairs and they're amazing for pulling on tiny things.
