Hi all,
I just picked up a used thorens td145 (did not have an opportunity to demo it), and I connected it to a Radioshack Little Rat preamp, which I attached to a phono out adapter and headphones. I first had sound out of the left channel only...but I had to leave to do an errand. I took the preamp with me on my errand in case I had the chance to stop by a friend's place and make sure it worked...but I didn't have the chance.
When I came back I realized I hadn't plugged in the headphone plug all the way in. I plugged it in correctly...and now I have NO sound on either channel. I replugged it incorrectly the way I had before...and nothing. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened? The only thing I can imagine is that the preamp was somehow damaged when I went on my errand. Thanks for the help!
