Hi All:
Need a little help. I am going to be expanding my modest system soon. I would like to base my new amp around the Audeze LCD-2 with a Grado headphone as a second pair. Both low impedance models. I listen to headphones about 80% of the time, but would use speakers the rest, so I would like an amp that is primarily a headphone amp but that can also drive a pair of speakers. I have come up with two canadates: The Woo Audio WA5 and the Decware Mini Torii. Sources will be a Bryston BDP-1/BDA-1 combo and some sort of turntable. So...on to the questions. Is there any other product I should be looking at? I prefer tube amps, but I will look at anything! The WA5 is quite a bit more then the Mini Torii, I like that it has the option to drive high impedance phones as well as low...but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money (especially if I go with the parts upgrade). I listen to all sorts of different music, rock, jazz and classical mostly. So, what would you do (and why)?
