Back when I was an 15-16, I bought a pair of KOSS
headphones. Before head-fi, before having any
money, before there was such a thing as portable
mp3 players.. I was modding the hell out of these
headphones. Eventually, i over-modded and tore them
apart. I've been trying to find them again for sale...
but I can't find the model number for the life of me.
Can someone help me? I'll describe them as best as I can.
IIRC they cost $35.00 in 1997 dollars haha. They were
a closed design. Large, comfortable, not very adjustable.
they had 50"" (!!!) mm drivers; pushed an amazing amount
of bass. I keep thinking its the Koss TD-80, but it isn't;
that headphone seems to share the same driver, but is
in a different enclosure. I also recall that you would
see these headphones in stores for CD-sampling machines.
They were black.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me!! I want to buy these headphones
badly... and I won't be happy until I do!!
Thanks in advance!!!
