I am trying to decide on 2 headphones (they need to be closed)

- Shure SRH840
- AKG K271 MKII
- Ultrasone Pro 500

I am favoured to the AKG, because I have the 240 Studio and I love the sound/fit.
You can also buy aftermarket cables for the AKG.

I listen a lot of jazz & rock and use an FUBAR IV dac & amp.

I recommend the AKG K271 MKII... outstanding mid freqs representation for jazz, very good isolation, comfortable fit, neutral, easy to drive, interchangeable cable, nice soundstage for been closed, etc, etc
