A lot of different genres such as pop, rock, rap, classical, jazz, alternative, etc. From that description it still sounds like the se215 is more what I prefer.

Well, the Westones will have the upper hand in clarity and detail, but the SE215 will be better in bass, naturality, soundstage and engaging-ness.
