Hey guys! I could really use some help with picking out a headphone.

I am currently looking for a set of closed back headphones with good sound isolation that can be driven by my phone.

I mostly listen to podcasts on my phone and play emulated video games. Occasionally I listen to music (mainly metal, but I listen to other genres too).

I am looking for something in the price range of 150 eur.

My own search gave me the following

  1. audiotechnica m50x
  2. audiotechnica m40x(with comfort mods)
  3. brainwavz hm5

Comfort is pretty important to me because I spent the majority of the day listening to headphones.

I have a pretty big head.

If someone could help me narrow down my selection to 1 headphone or recomend something I have missed, I would be very greatfull.

I have the M40x, it sure has a good sound and impressive isolation, but it sits on the ears and so the comfort is kinda off, should be sort of similar with the m50X version I suppose.

I think that the DT 770 32 ohms would be what you are looking for, if I'm not mistaken the isolation and comfort is really good while having a neutral sound. I don't have it so I can't really talk about it and compare it to other headphones. But there are reviews online and there is surely people that have it here.
