FYI with your criteria, you'll never find what you are looking for, but have fun looking. Next idea would be to strap a subwoofer on your back so you can have BASS wherever you go.

Seems like OP has made his decision and I hope he/she is happy with them. That will be the last time you will see him/her on these boards unless he/she is unhappy with his/her purchase, then they'll be back to complain.

Goodness, these forums generally do not seem to have individuals such as the OP on them so when one pops up it reminds me why I don't frequent any other forums anymore.

correct, the 250ohm 05 version is bass light but defined, if you want full thumping bass go for the 80ohm version that might be ok unamped though its abit above your budget..

my portapro are far bassier than my dt770 are. they are bassy on the side of quality bassy phones but if you want some nice flab or otherwise, go for a cheaper phone.

porta pro: they rattle the chassis from too much bass
