but what does the following mean? (saw in a product's description).

I'm kinda new to the headfi game; have an AKG K-271 MKII & a B&O P5;
run thru a Dared MP-6 with a Siri source.

Basically you have the option of changing the amplifying components (Operational Amplifier (Op-Amp)). You can ask for different ones if you want to.
For example, in a Tube amp, you can change the tubes. Some tubes are associated with a distinct sound signature, so you can experiment by replacing tubes and finding whats best for you.
I'm not sure which sound signature each Op-Amp is associated with, but as a simple measure, try to take a look at the S/N Ratio (Signal to Noise Ratio). The ones with the higher S/N ratios are usually most transparent.
