The fundamental point that Apple only had one available laptop at the price point remains valid, regardless.. no?

Last time I looked all the people in the Apple ads were actors too.

Pretty much like ohh 99% of ads out there.

So, what was your point again?

Going along this line
I've seen a PC built for $38 USD and had specs ~~a 360. This thread is now about hobo PCs.
It had no case.

Thank you. Seriously. That's all it would have been. 96 pages of machine lovers and product dry humping.

You fail. Go into high street store, a laptop with 2GB of RAM, 160GB HD, dual core Intel CPU will be about £350. Hardly 500mhz Celeron CPU with 128MB of RAM.

erm... hobo computer is a passion of various sites and they will be able to set you up with a semi-serious rig for very cheap. Used online parts = cheap

Lol. Once a colleague asked why my m860tu was so thick because his laptop was very thin and powerful and I told him to cater for the huge fan to cool the powerful components. He asked me, you mean powerful like the Macbook Pro?

I fired up Crysis, he then looked at his Macbook Pro with less enthusiasm and put it in his bag.

In the U.S. you can probably find the same for half that price.
