Just realized that every single type of speaker tweeter design I am aware of has already been adopted in headphone design [even AMT (e.g. Obravo, ESS) and ribbon (e.g. RAAL)] - except for compression driver and plasma tweeter. Utilizing compression driver technology in headphone seems nonsense since headphone drivers are right next to listeners' ears. So what is left would be plasma driver......Out of curiosity, is it possible to make a set of cans with plasma tweeters (or even more fascinating, plasma full-ranges)?
(P.S. even if someone make it happens, I would really hesitate to put it on......don't want to have my brain cooked by flame......)
