I am thinking about placing a Mac Mini on top of my Sugden Headmaster headphone amp and preamp on my desktop. The amp does not get hot to the touch, but will I have any problems with this placement? If so, is there a minimum safe distance that I should place between these components? Thanks to all.

Quick answer is maybe.  Might be some noise introduced by the Mini.  Maybe a little mini shelf or rack to increase clearance between the two.  Some isolator cones would look sweet.  Then again it might not be a problem at all.  Experiment eh.

I don't think you'd run into any problems if the amp still had adequate cooling. My Mac Mini sits on top of another component and I've never had heat issues.
