Hey, i am london for the next few weeks (work exp) and will have lot of free time, as ive got no work. So today i decided to chip early, and go to some headphone shops in london. on previous thread in head-fi, charring cross/Tottenham court were recommended. so i went there. yes, lots of AV shops, but only few had good headphones, and NONE had any decent ones for me to try. Any recommendations for shops in london, preferably in zone 1 to TRY out high end headphones?

Really don't think you are going to find anywhere to try out decent/high end headphones. Places like Richer Sounds and Seven Oaks Sound and Vision just don stock head-fi gear. There might be some one off specialist stores around but you will only find them through yell.co.uk or somewhere similar. Might be worth checking out some department stores maybe, their electronics dept might have some, though i doubt high end, or even mid-fi.

London is really lacking in anything head-fi, the only place to go is the net, and they just dont have brick and mortar stores.

thats what i was thinking, but i just thought it might be worth a try. i am presuming you live in london to know about this, recommend any shops for a bargain?
