So I just got some Yuin PK3s in the mail. When I plug them into my computer or Iphone to listen to them they are SO loud. I have listen to them on only the SECOND! bar on my volume bar thing to get my normal listening level. If I turn it all the way up I can here them like 20 ft away.
Is there a way to fix this?

If not, when I burn them in do I keep the volume that high?

Have you ever tried it with another player(such as i-Pod)?

Kinda, I tried my computer and my iphone which is how I listen to music. I use my iphone as my mp3 player.
So is there a way to fix it or is this just how it is?

lol yea.
like, Lets say the volume has 10 bars, 0 being no sound, 10 being full blasting.
On my old headphones (apple) I would listen at 6-7 to get the volume I want.

For the pk'3 I have them at 2 to get the "6-7" volume. And at 6-7 they can be heard like 10 ft away. Its so loud.

Do I need to like "equalize" them or something?

There might have been something wrong.

hmmm, how should I go about this?
I emailed what they had under the contact info of head-fi.
Any other suggestions?
I heard something about someone named "fang" on here.

I only use 1-2 clicks on the volume bar (out of 25) on my computer when I'm using an IEM. My full-size AKG headphones need more like 8 or 10 clicks on the volume bar. So your earbud only needing volume level 2 sounds normal to me.

If it is under warranty, contact with where you bought it.
Burning in will not help.

I had the same problem with some different headphones. You can check my thread out here: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f103/s...d-ipod-455762/

I ended up getting an in-line volume control from Radio Shack that has worked well. It allows me to listen at lower volume levels on my iphone and can be used to eliminate hiss from noisy sources.

an in-line volume control will help for sure.
