I just got these PK3's last week, new during the summer or back to school sale, and there is a definite lack of bass on the left side, while the right side seems to be just right/perhaps a titch heavy. I've tried it unamped with my D2, and an iPod, as well as amped with both with my UHA-3. At first I thought it was just the song/soundstage, but every song I've tried the bass is all on the right side. I've also tried different eq's and even the pan effect in the D2, and even panned all the way to the left, there isn't any bass. Are these defective, or am I losing it? By the way, my MS1's and K501's sound great with the D2/UHA-3 combo, and don't feel lopsided.

If you've tried swapping them between your ears then yes, they must be faulty.
