Got my pk2s today. Extremely disapointing.

Also, didn't know it came with foam pads. Which ones do you think sound the best? The one with the hole, the full one, or none? I can't tell much difference, cept it sounds better with them on.

If you can't tell the difference, does it really matter? Anyway, I'd give it some burn in time, then after that give some time for each foam piece, then do a side by side comparison if necessary. If you can't tell right now, why not just give both time and eventually figure it out on your own? Also, you should update your signature.

I'll let them burn in.

As of right now .. these are just plain terrible. I wish I had some ibuds to side by side, because they'd be extremely similar.

The lack of bass is just too much of a hurdle for me. Sure, everything else is detailed .. but without bass (and yes it's "without", not "shortage of") its all just noise.

The pk2 are definitely much better than ibuds. I could go as far to say they are the best buds you can get.

That being said I sold my pk2's. They just didn't work out on the bus.

I just did a comparison between Pk2s and iBuds. If you find them the same or the Pk2's worse, then there's something wrong with your ears.

I'm interested in these phones, OP would you be able to post if sound has changed after "burn-in" ???

Thanks

I hope you read the impression threads carefully (??). I've been saying from day 1 that they lack bass extension compared to my other cans.

I'm not the OP, but I can confirm that the bass is brought out more after 25-30 hours of burn in.
