Just came back from the shop, where I've got ATH-ES5. I was torn between them and AKG81DJ (too large). I chose Audio-Technicas.
The guy at the desk recommended Pioneer SE-MJ3

I gave them a try, but fell in love with ES5 design already, couldn't think soberly.
They were good sounding, though and as it seemed for then (I've listened to one jazz track through them) a bit dark in comparison with ES5.
Now I think, that I should return to the shop but in a moth maybe... For SJ5 or for those Pioneer? Sizewise these SE-MJ3 were between AKG81DJ and ES5. At that moment I thought I'm not ready for the bigger headphones, now I think otherwise.
