Hello!
I recently came across a pair of Pioneer SE-L40s at a swap meet (Flea@MIT, for those who are interested) for $8... I had never heard of them before, but they looked beautiful and seeing as they were Pioneers I figured they couldn't sound that bad (I've since looked them up and I've been pleased with what I've heard ). Unfortunately, the driver is broken in the left ear (I know it's not the cable, I have tested with both a multimeter and an oscilloscope and can verify that the cable is continuous and the signal successfully reaches the driver). I looked around, but couldn't really find any info on a good replacement driver that will work (either Pioneer or not). I was wondering if anyone here had some advice. I don't have the Pioneer part number for the driver on me at the moment, but I'll update this post with it when I get home. Any advice would be much appreciated!
TL;DR: I need to know where I can find a replacement driver (Pioneer brand or not) for a pair of SE-L40s.
Thanks,
Jason
